Bittersweet Summer

Katie is nervous that her best friend Claire Plummer is trying to get her teacher and Mr. Plummer to start dating, because Katie had wanted to try and set her and her own Dad up. But then Katie’s mom tells her that she will be performing in a nearby town. Katie’s younger brother Tyler is convinced that she has come back to stay, but their dad is too busy worrying about maybe having to move to deal with much else. Katie just wants a Mom at this point and is worried that she might not get to have a complete family.
