Leigh Crandall grew up on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas and spent seventeen years in Manhattan writing for travel and lifestyle publications. Her first children’s book, Dark Hedges, Wizard Island, and Other Magical Places That Really Exist, was published in 2020. She is currently a contributing editor at Country Living, and lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her family.
