Giuliano Ferri was born in Italy, where he now lives with his wife and their daughter. He has illustrated many books for children which have been published in Italy, China, Japan, England, France, and the United States, and translated into several languages. His art has often been exhibited at the Bologna Children's Book Fair as well as in museums all over the world. Mr. Ferri often works in his community using animation, drama, and comic theater to help young people who have disabilities.
